Has anyone else noticed that Luke starts out a sentence with, "Look..." an awful lot?
Okay, I don't remember where exactly I read it, but apparently Van admitted in some kind of interview that that's his way of stalling for more time when he can't remember the next line. I guess it's better than just going o_o, but a lot of times, a "Look..." at the beginning of a sentence doesn't really make an awful lot of sense either. :D
"I heard that guy in the next room has a wicked case of athlete's foot! I'm sure he'd be thrilled to have a world-renowned neurosurgeon come in and help take that burning itch away!"
I love when Luke says, "Your treatment methods are very unorthodox." It makes me imagine them "playing doctor" and Reid coming up with all kinds of unorthodox treatment methods Luke needs to improve his health :D

I also love the way Reid clearly responds much better to being insulted than he does to someone asking nicely.

That scene between Reid and Noah? I am convinced that this was the moment where Reid really gave his preconceived notions about Luke a second thought. Before this, I think he started out thinking Luke was a spoiled rich kid who believed he was entitled to anything he wanted, and he hated him. Then he met Luke, found him ridiculously attractive, and hated him even more because of it. And then he had a couple of moments where he saw or heard something that didn't quite fit into the version of "Luke" that was living in his head, and he basically dismissed them or told himself that those moments were the exception to

This "Luke" Noah is describing never existed anywhere but inside of Noah's feeble excuse for a mind, and he has the nerve to punish Luke for failing to be this paragon of perfection that he has imagined! This is so true! Noah has such a warped view of Luke; he's in need of serious therapy, stat.
IMO, this is when Reid realized that the "Luke" in his head wasn't the real one at all; the real Luke was the one he had thought he'd caught a couple of glimpses of which he'd previously dismissed. You speak the truth. And this is why Reid is so much better than Noah! Reid is kinda like a human being; his first impression of Luke starts to change based on new information. Huh. :D
"Good morning, Mr. Snyder. I understand you're not feeling very well."
"I'm not sick, really, it's just that every time I get near you, I feel all hot and flushed and my pulse starts to race."
"I see. That could be a very serious condition; we need to run some tests to be sure. I'm going to start by taking your temperature. Would you prefer I take it orally or rectally?"
"Orally. If you don't get a good reading, we can always try rectally later."
"All right; open your mouth wide."
"I don't think that's actually a thermometer, Dr. Oliver."

Noah is such a self-absorbed nimrod.
Speaking of Noah... I can't even be bothered to really listen to anything he says. I always end up skipping his scenes even if it's one w/Luke.
HAHAH, YES, THE EPISODE WHERE REID MET HENRY. I love their interactions, especially when Henry found out that Reid's gay.
