Given the way you're reacting now, I WONDER WHY. Lily has to be prompted TWICE before she tells Luke she loves him. Ugh.

While it's very sad, I do think it represents the way a lot of the more ignorant soap viewers would react to a similar situation. ("How do you know you're gay if you haven't been with a girl?!?!") I like that the show tackled the absurdity of those beliefs.

But...poor Luke. :(

Lily probably reacted the way a lot of parents would so it is probably realistic but poor Luke just wants to be loved.
