"No frakking way." The scowl she cast CAG-wards would have shrivelled weaker souls, but Apollo was made of sterner stuff. "I'm not ready."

"Cottle cleared you, didn't he?" Persistent little frakker.

"I can't believe you expect me to take my bird out when the morpha hasn't worn off yet." she grumbled. "It's bad enough with stims, and those're at least supposed to wake you up first."

He reached out to ruffle her hair, then thought better of it."I'll make sure you don't fall asleep out there, if that's what bothers you."

"Frak you." Kara snorted, standing up at last.

"Anytime, Starbuck."
