I've used flaxseed goop for cooking, and squeezed it through muslin. Perhaps I was using a different ratio of water to seed, but it wasn't difficult. Maybe I'm missing something - that's always a very distinct possibility! :)

i also wonder if the addition of the BS after the flax wash did anything negative. like opening up your scales to let the seed particles stick more ferociously.
(i guess i also failed at the request when i didn't mention that brushing it out while rinsing works best. but i also wasn't thinking you'd use ground seed.)
