Okay. Dean with a baby. That… wow. I never felt much like wanting to be a mother, but I find myself being attracted to the thought of having Dean´s baby. Not really, but… when he is in his father role and all his protectiveness pours out, that really evokes a funny feeling in my guts. (Actually I would want to throw the baby back in the cradle and ( Read more... )

I loved it I loved it. The Impala is free, the boys looked good and we're back on track. Wrote about it at my lj as well. You're welcome to come see. http://anastdean.livejournal.com/198700.html

Idk, Dean with a baby feels slightly wrong to me, still. Sure, he's great - minus the idea to let the baby suckle whiskey.
And THANK HEAVENS, someone else also feels reluctant about Sam! It bugged me already in the first episode when Dean hugged him and Sam just had this weird expression on his face. Not exactly relief, definitely not happiness, but as if there's a different agenda for him.
I don't trust the whole Campbell clan, I'm with Dean on that... To me it looks like Samuel is trying to catch creatutres alive, which makes me think of some kind of Noa's Arch scenario for some reason. But to what ends and what purposes?
Hunter!Dean at the end was so awesome! The scenes matched perfectly with the music, one of the hymns of the show and the change in Dean himself was remarkable. I give kudios to Lisa too, for supporting him like that and not freaking out.

Ooooh yes, the whiskey scene- I was all upset, I didn´t consider that funny, and actually thought it was irresponsible. But probably the majority of the watchers had a good laugh. *shrugs ( ... )

Like I said in that other post - I almost liked Lucifer!Sam better... But here it is not exactly Lucifer, but something else that's different. Sam doesn't even appear to be just half as broken as Dean had been by his "tour in Graceland" and it just sits wrong with me. Ugh, looks like I miss angry!Sam because I got to know that person over the seasons. Let's just hope Sam didn't do a deal with the devil and is somehow responsible for this Arch idea...

I won't comment on the baby issue (you'll see why if you check out my journal, haha), but I do have thoughts on the whole thing with Lisa. I don't hate her, I just never really had strong feelings for her either way, but I was disappointed by her portrayal in this episode ( ... )

Thank you for your personal comment! Concerning your last sentence: PLEASE WRITE IT!!!!!!! (Isn´t there a meme somewhere we can post it to?!) That scene was meant for inappropriate thoughts! I can see the writers in their room, thinking "What can we do to make the fangirls go crazy?" Otherwise there was no need to make the creature turn into Sam first and then into Dean ( ... )

What I saw in Lisa was actual strength- to set Dean free, to accept his needs without any reproach.

That is a really good point! I think you're right... Dean doesn't really love them the way he should. It's almost more like obligation he feels to protect them.
