But now, this is a place I avoid because I worry what I will stumble upon here, what thoughts I might return with as I rummage through my daily chaotic ( Read more... )

Hey Michelle,

Read your entry. I can sympathize, Bright Futures and CFCC tried to screw me over this past week, saying that I had to pay the $791 that my scholarship was supposed to cover, and they questioned my citizenship status. It took 9 days and the dean of the school to finally resolve things, and as it is, I still have an outstanding bill that they haven't billed yet to the Bright Futures people yet.. Had my future in the balance there for a while.. Hang in there, it'll all work out..

Have you thought about going to College? You can still get a BF scholarship up to three years after graduation. I know you're certainly bright enough to earn one.. Just an idea..

Sounds like things are tough- if you need anything, such as a place to stay or need to talk, you can email me. I know we weren't good friends in the literal sense, but you were really good to me when I was feeling a little unsure of myself during the lead up to the AP Test. Just let me know if there's anything I can do for you..

Anyhow, take care of yourself :)

Wow, that's really nice of you. Thank you very much.

Yes, I have thought of going into college. I have some BF scholarship money I could use, though not a full ride. However, I need to focus on getting a place to stay, money to buy a car I can use to travel to school, etc. But after I am settled, I intend to enroll in some classes.
