Thanks for the tip. :) Mmm, I'm actually curious if anyone on my friends list is actually using these; I haven't seen them yet, and given that the theme itself seems to be rather ugly (and I'm not just saying that because of the underhanded advertising - it's genuinely true), I hope that noone will, either. Still, better to be safe than sorry!

I don't think they're *ugly*--they're certainly better than some of the others, like a more refined version of some of the happy face ones. They're just undistinctive, which is not the kind of fate you want when you're a sponsor trying to get attention. And other than the flash thingie, they don't really seem to be related to the brand itself thematically, but maybe that's just me.

*noddles* That's true as well...

I think the theme is that they're meant to be bubbles, as Pepsi is a soda product. I agree that it's not really obvious, though.

...

I doubt that nobody with any sense would use that mood theme. It's horrible. Eugh.

By the way, you might want to link to http://www.livejournal.com/moodlist.bml?moodtheme=333551 in your post so that people can see all of them at once.

By the way, what's going to happen when the contract with them ends, exactly? I mean, presumably LJ wouldn't keep the theme up.

I think they might, actually, that it will work like sponsored themes. You won't be able to choose it any more, but if you already have it, you can keep it.

Do you know what I want? A mood theme where ALLLLLL the wee smileys have glasses! Not just the nerdy and productive and similar moods!

Yeah, what foxfirefey said. You'll be able to use it if you have it on your journal still, but it won't be selectable from the drop-down anymore once the sponsorship is over.
