As far as I can figure out LJArchive is the best backup program out there. I want to test out and write instructions for using it to upload entries to WordPress, but alas, I am Mac bound and don't have a convenient Windows machine to perform such feats on. It's reputed that LJArchive is compilable with Mono--however, I'm not finding any good ( Read more... )

Just to say, the method I used, running .Net and LJArchive, I uploaded the entries and found out my links were de-linkafied, HTML formatting was removed, and I believe no images worked, either (even ones I had not hosted on ScrapBook).

In the end I just decided to keep an archive of my entries but not import them to WP at this time.
