The slash in this was mighty indeed - starting right with House waking Wilson by singing "Faith" ("Well, I guess it would be nice / if I could touch your body / you know not everybody / has got a body like you "). ETA: House: "He's a self-important jerk." Wilson: "Seems to be what I'm attracted to." Wilson calling House "Limb." House asking Wilson "Late night with the Pigeon Sisters?" "House refusing to come to the surgery because "If you die, I'm alone," but showing up anyway just as Wilson is going under (and RSL acting with just the tiniest change in his eyes in that moment is pure fucking awesome.) House being there in recovery until Wilson wakes up. The laughing scene (always awesome--especially how in this one Wilson laughs and then clutches himself because the surgery site is still painful). House asking him if he's angry and Wilson being "oh, no, I'm still glad" and House being all... clearly, this man needs to go get angry somewhere. I love that Wilson not only buys the loft, but that, even after basically throwing House out

A+ for slash analysis! :D I love that the end of the episode is the new beginning for both of them, in a way: House actually stands by him despite originally refusing to be there, and Wilson accepting their cohabitation as the way things should be. Also, I don't think he will be talking to Amber once he moves out of the bedroom he once shared with her. This is a good thing for him, and a FANTASTIC thing for slashers

You know how I never was a pure born House/Wilson fan, but this season? They just make me smile. It's like they are both functioning better because they have each other to be there when shit hits the fan.
I'm so glad you're enjoying this season! They've really grown closer, and each is a better person because of it - indeed, they're each other's family. And try as I might, I can't NOT think of them as a couple. Such intimacy!
