First, a rather personal squee for the victory of Boris Tadic, the Democratic candidate in yesterday's presidential elections in Serbia. YAY!!!!! He won against the Radicals' candidate by only about 2% - scary but sufficient - and I'm so relieved I can't even articulate it ( Read more... )

(Hmm, I never got notification for this comment - sorry for the late reply.)

It was a great episode, even with such poor use of Cuddy. And I totally thought of you when Foreman said House had been wooing him for years! ;)

The writers are very, very awesome.

It looks as if you and I are very much of the same mind on this episode. :)

Somebody FINALLY saying that House DOESN'T NEED FIXING. THANK YOU, WRITERS!!!!!!!

Definitely my favorite moment of the ep and one of the best of the series. We've gone through nearly four seasons of practically every one who crosses House's path telling him that he needs to be fixed and FINALLY we get someone, a psychiatrist to boot, telling him doesn't have to change who he is. Besides being bright, funny, and attractive, no wonder he was attracted to her - she accepted him as is.

Yes, yes, COMPLETELY!!! Now if we could only have someone question the definition of this word "misery" that so many characters seem to be throwing around... ;)

I read a lovely analysis somewhere of the engineer guy being House's proxy - damaged leg, but fixable; willing to do whatever it takes (the urine scene reminded me of House licking the vomit-y rag in that ep with the homeless woman); and he gets the girl he cured in the end, which... yeah.

Also, how awesome is it that Amber is totally TALLER than Wilson? VERY AWESOME!

inorite? And he's not short, either. How friggin' tall is she, and what kind of shoes does she wear?

(I'd say more, but ... um ... pretty much everything else can be summed up with "IFAWTC.")

Haven't seen House yet, but: He won against the Radicals' candidate by only about 2% - scary but sufficient - and I'm so relieved I can't even articulate it. Me too, congratulations!

I concur.

I've totally missed season 3 (because season 2 was just sucking too bad) but I'm glad I saw this one, it rocked.

Yes, I went through a similar period during which I was watching, hating, and thus not writing about it. I'm just insanely glad that Doris Egan is one of the producers now in addition to being a writer; she really knows what this show (a.k.a. the fandom) needs. ;)
