Pilots Bingo: Season 4

May 04, 2012 08:38

People are still writing Bingos and what I love about so many of these (if not all), is that they are all single stories or themes woven in five parts. I encourage EVERYONE to read them. All of the bingos this week are gorgeous and bittersweet and full of love! <3<3<3PILOTS<3<3<3

Quorum

The Quorum’s decision is controversial, but mostly accepted.

Mostly.

“Those frakking bastards,” Kara swears, banging her locker closed.

Lee winces; he should’ve anticipated this. “Starbuck-“

“Don’t, Lee! You know this is bullshit. I can do a hell of a lot more for the fleet in my viper than I can on my back for some mouth-breather!”

His first thought is: Not necessarily from what I’ve heard. He wisely keeps it to himself. “The repopulation program is a logical solution-”

“Oh really? So you’re just frakking fine with this?”

He thinks of the match notification slip in his pocket and smiles.

Memorial WallWhen Lee gets off CAP the next afternoon, Starbuck’s gone missing. He’s sure she’s gotten her slip ( ... )

GUH. I love this whole thing, but the first three are just so angsty and delicious. "That's never been our problem," KILLED ME.

Excellent!

Thank you bb! This one is my favorite of the drabble sets! I had a tough time with that line! So glad it works!

One of my favorite premiss that the show completely ignored. This is completely adorable, especially Kara wrapping her head around Lee being in love with her. And she wears the dress, aw.

I have such a love for those early cliche premises!! Thank you so much. Oh yes, she wears that dress...though probably not for long. ;)

Hee, it totally amuses me to imagine Bill and Laura plotting it!

Okay everyone, things will be a lot better around here if those two finally bang... how can we make it happen.

I bet Bill is oblivious as usual, but plotting and rigging things is more up Laura's street, isn't it? (as is noticing pilots as distinctly not brother and sister, lol)

Awww, sweet baby pilots.

Let’s do our patriotic duty or whatever

I've totally got the song from Grease 2 stuck in my head now.

Wear this. Please.

This note worked so well. It was the Please that made it. <3

Oh ha ha, I didn't even think of that Grease song, but you're right! You're so right! hee. ;)

They so seldom use please and thank you with each other that it's so meaningful when they do! <3

Ooooh, I love these!!!! oddly, I'm not fond of pilotbabies as a trope, but these are just so perfect, I had the hugest grin on my face from the end of the first drabble to the bit with the dress. Sharon is the perfect choice of bystander to tell it like it is, and I love that Kara sort of freaks out a little at the idea of Lee being in love with her and goes for Lee in the way she's most accustomed to but then he stops her and it isn't angry or sad-making but they give me ALL THE SQUEE instead.

Also, this - “That’s never been our problem.” just sums them up so well here. I rambled a lot, but you really are amazing :)

Thanks! I'm usually not a babyfic fan/writer either! Lately I'm all about the shmoop/fluff though. But I did change direction on this one because it was originally going to end with a baby drabble.

Anyway, regardless, THANK YOU! I liked this kind of weird circumstance begetting a normal, real chance for them to have a relationship! <3
