pleasantly sleepy

Woke up a 5am this morning to go birding with some coworkers at Greenlake.
It was awesome. Not a ton of species but a good amount.

And Joy brought home-made scones that were delicious.

And for the first time in my life I got to hear a Pied-billed Grebe make a noise and omg they have an adorable birdcall. *swoon*

birds, psc

The obligatory Bald Eagles.
American Coot, Rock Dove, D-C Cormorant, Mallard, Gadwall, Am. Widgeon, Pied-billed Grebes, V-G swallows, an Osprey, two male Wood Ducks, a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, RW Blackbirds, Yellow-rumped warblers,House Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Glaucous-winged Gulls and lots of crows.

I think that's everything. I'll eBird it at some point.
