School Days . . .

My best friend, Carrie,  from high school, came over today.  Her father passed away last week of a heart attack, he was 57.  Today is the anniversary of her brothers death.  He was run over by a drunk driver one year ago.  It has been a difficult year for her to say the least. However, she is making great strides.

Friends are extremely important during the rough times. I am extremely greatful for the few that I know I can truly count on no matter what. Sounds like you are a wonderful friend for her. It feels good to be reminded that there are still some good people left out there.
