Ritsuka had hesitated some time in his room before exiting and wandering down the hall to Mr. Offdensen's room. He combed his fingers through his hair and took a slow breath before knocking. He'd brought his bad with him, not sure what exactly he had that was worth anything, but it was worth a shot.
Hearing the knock, Charles set his newly acquired book down on the couch and got to his feet, moving to the shoddy table with an equally sturdy looking chair, folding his hands together on the surface.
"Come in." At the man's side was a note pad and pen, items gathered from Credinta stashed away from prying eyes or those who would try to steal them. Years of hiding things from the boys had taught him a thing or too about strategic stashing and note taking.
He hovered by the door, gripping the doorframe and glancing back into the hall uncertainly. He didn't kow this man....but Soubi was close, and this wasn't like with the Joker...he'd be fine. He let go and followed him into the room, switching to English after hearing him speak.
"You said you had...things to sell?" he asked uncertainly.
As the door opened, hazel eyes widened just a bit, surprised at such a young face appearing in the doorway. An image of a young Toki standing in his office, asking if he could try-out for Dethklok. He had to shake the image out ever so slightly.
"Yes, I have, ah, many things to offer today. What interests you?" Pulling the notepad close, Charles held his pen, wanting to write down what was wanted and the boy's name. "What's your name by the way?"
Youji had slipped into the apartment building, fingers tracing along the walls. He didn't bother with knocking, poking his head inside the advertised door curiously. "Heeey, you the one with the stuff?" he asked, ears perking. He'd been wandering all round the city, but he was still a bit nervous about being in the apartments. The murderers back at the Joker's seemed to like him better than they did here. That didn't wipe the grin from his face though.
The man barely had enough time to put things away once Ritsuka left before the door was opened and a... Boy with cat ears? Maybe it was time to fix that glasses prescription. If that was even possible here.
"Yes, I am. Is there something which you're looking for?" Charles pulled his notepad close, hands resting on the smooth surface.
