Getting across the river had been hard enough, it was getting back across that proved to be difficult. What was odd was the fact that being in that other city had been the easy part. He made sure his suit was perfect, but hair a bit mussed along with keeping the scar concealer in his jacket pocket rather than on his face. Overall, the look had allowed him to wander about in the local areas without causing much of a second glance. The fun for him had come when he got to use his language skills on vendors and those around him, speaking casually with the citizens as if he were one of their own. Thank god the boys had such a global reach, if not his years of European languages would have gone to waste.

In Credinta, had managed to play the role of sliver-tongued prince with vendors, slowly gathering up supplies he would take back "home" with him. Food, clean water, articles of clothing for the necessities, and alcohol, cleaning products, flashlights, batteries of varying sizes as well as other creature comforts like junk foods, candy and cigarettes. All in all, it had been a very successful outing across the river. When it came time to going back across the river from whence he came, Charles found getting his hard earned items across dry and in once piece a challenge. But, after finding something to float them along on, it was manageable.

Now it was the fun part. The manager had no need for everything he brought back, of course not. He was a business man after all. Sending out an open message to residents of what he now "stocked," Charles made himself comfortable in his apartment. People might not have had money to give, but services and lesser items were always welcomed. Bartering had been the first form of payment after all.
