You probably already know, but-

California's supreme court ruled that it is unconstitutional to ban gay marriage, despite the fact that the Republican appointees outnumber Democrat appointees on the court 6 to 1.

I am thinking things are maybe looking good down the road when a democrat is president. :)

Yeah, I heard that (I pretty much only go to work and listen to NPR these days!). And I'm being cautiously optimistic. Even if a majority of Californians are grossed out by the thought of two men having sex, they don't necessarily think that sex should be such a government-sanctioned matter. So who knows? We might just be okay.
