FAFSA is screwing me around like nobody's business.

First I start filling it out, and save halfway through.

I go back, and try to receive my saved FAFSA.

Denied! Couldn't find me. Whatever. I close it.

A few weeks later, I start again at the beginning. I fill the whole thing out. I try to submit it by signing with my PIN.

Matt brought palm oil to my attention a couple months ago- one reason we want to go to Asia in January is to see the orangutans, which are expected to be extinct in another 10 years. You probably already know, but-

California's supreme court ruled that it is unconstitutional to ban gay marriage, despite the fact that the Republican appointees outnumber Democrat appointees on the court 6 to 1.

I am thinking things are maybe looking good down the road when a democrat is president. :)

There's a zoo in New Zealand that's offering to send its giraffes to people's homes to prune their trees.

I am so jealous!

Last night, at about 4 AM, the car alarms started. It kept going and going, I was half asleep, and tempted to call the police! If only I had a bedside phone...then the fear of calling emergency services kicked in, and I counted honks.
