Hello there my LJ friends. Just wanted to check in and tell y'all what is going on with me. I am looking into becoming a probation officer. Mainly to get out of prison dorms and get out more. I am starting a mini-vacation today. Not really doing much other than cleaning and catching up on tv

I'm a little confused, because Lady Gaga didn't sing "Glory" on the Oscars, she sang a "Sound of Music" tribute medley, and John Legend sang "Glory" with a huge back-up choir. O.o

I did think her performance was beautiful though, and showed off that she does have very genuine talent behind all the window dressing. :P

Oh I get it. He's making fun of John Legend - I think.

Regardless, the most interesting part of Glory for me was when the camera guys had to get reaction shots from every black audience member. Just to prove that there were black people. It was like the Republican National Convention.
