What the flying fuck?
I was confronted with my own livejournal during a job interview today. This means that all further posts will be under filter. I'm sorry, Shelley and everyone else who followed my life through my journal, I like the job more than my journal, when it all comes down to it.

Work 'n' stuff
Mine sucks right now, as made abundantly clear before. I had a small task to do today, outside of the regular mail sending activities. Lots and lots of hovering around the boss, not making too much noise to make sure I didn't attract any attention. *rolls eyes* I feel like a ten-year-old.

It's a sick sad little world
You know what's been bothering me most lately: the fact that when you're smart and strong as a woman, you're the scariest thing in the world to men. Like you're carrying a disease they'd rather not catch.

Had two unexpectedly good job interviews today.
The first one at McKinsey was actually a bust, because I didn't get the job. BUT (and itis a big but), the HR manager and I hit it off really well. So well in fact that she saw right through me and said: "Honey, Belgium is too small for you. You can do so much more ( Read more... ) -

Right, so first off: yay for the internet connection I now have at home! Stuff gets a lot easier this way, especially the job hunt. Plus, thanks to mikey_dreamer , I'm now able to explore the wonderful world of torrents and thus Damien Rice. Thank you baby.

Drama
Had my housewarming on Saturday, very few people showed up, but those who matter most were there (or had a damned good excuse, except for tootsiemuppet *pokes*), so I enjoyed it. Got the coolest lava lamp and an agenda, too. Told lize and Pieter who "crush guy" is, though I didn't really want to. I'm sure they're trustworthy enough not to blab.
