Summary: This is a sequel to
Lost and Found, though I suppose you could read it without having read that. The relationship between Faith and Cordelia is settling in nicely, but something seems... off. And Faith seems to know more than she's letting on. *queue drama* However will they handle it?

“Oooh man…” Faith’s head was throbbing as she tried to sit up in bed.
“Easy there, trooper, you’ve had quite a trashing!” Lorn sat at the edge of her bed, gently pushing her back down.
“What? How did I get on the Ward?” She grimaced. “My head feels like somebody took a sledgehammer to it…”
“Well, that’s almost what happened, honey.” Cordelia walked into the room. “I step out of the room one minute and then you wake up?” She grabbed Lorn’s shoulder. “Thanks for watching her.”
“Anytime, sugar. Now I have to run though, big Christmas event coming up!” He looked at Faith, still a little worried. “Take care, hon.”
“Got it covered, Lorn.” Faith smiled. She touched her forehead. “Once the splitting head ache disappears that is…”
Cordelia lovingly took Faith’s head into her hands and kissed it. “You’ll be fine.”
A wide grin appeared on Faith’s face. “You’ll look to that personally, I assume?”
“Oh, definitely.” Cordelia grabbed the sheets and crawled in the bed next to Faith. “I’ll even keep you warm personally.”
“Oh, I can dig that!” Faith laughed as she pulled her lover in for a kiss.
----------
“Oh, sorry, I’ll come back later…”
Faith looked up to find a flushed-looking Spike at the door. “No, don’t go, it’s ok.
“Me and Cordelia were just checking to see if all my parts were still in order.” She grinned.
“Erm yeah…” Spike looked at the wall, avoiding her gaze. “So how are ya?”
“Pretty awesome I’d say. What do you think, Queen C? Am I five by five?”
Cordelia looked up from Faith’s shoulder. “I’d go for a ten by nine, myself, but that’s close enough.”
Faithed laughed. “Why just the nine, lover?”
“Well, you’re a bit dented in the rear end, really.” Cordelia frowned as she pointed at the bruising on Faith’s back.
“Oh right!”
Faith’s smile faded as she saw the pained look on Spike’s face.
“You okay there, Spike?”
“Yeah, glad to see you’re awake an’ all that. Well, I have to go now, Angel needs me.” Spike rushed out of the room as fast as he could.
“Well, that was odd.” Cordelia stated, settling in more comfortably.
“Yeah. Really strange.” Faith stared at the door, thinking of the look in her best friend’s eyes.
---------------
He shouldn’t like that image so much. No, he should not. And he shouldn’t have noticed Cordelia’s naked leg as it peaked from under the sheets. No, sir. And he shouldn’t be aroused by watching the two of them kiss. Definitely not!
Spike was grateful they hadn’t noticed that he’d been there for a couple of minutes before he’d finally realised he would have to speak up.
