This year's knitting goal

I like to set myself a knitting challenge each year, last year's was to knit Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitter's Almanac, which project kind of fell apart midway through the year (health crises and depressive episodes will do that to you, but I did wind up with some nice mittens and hats and things ( Read more... )

Man, I really should unravel the Monstrosity that was going to be a poncho worked up with two strands of Lionbrand Homespun (a yarn that I have quite firmly Gotten Over :P). That thing is stuffed in a bag and hiding in the craftroom >.>

It takes a lot of courage to 1)Collect UFOs and 2)publicly display them

Two items made me laugh out loud. My Pi shawl was much farther along than I remembered and it took quite awhile for me to find the pattern again.

Somehow I lost a second sock of a pair so all that work and I only have one sock!!

Which three are you going to re-start first?

Well, I already finished the lengthwise scrappy scarf because it didn't need that much done, and I wanted to start on a high note :) Now I'm working on a project I'm test-knitting for a friend (she wants to submit it to Knitpicks IDP actually, so no photos!). After that, I'm thinking the fair-isle sweater because if I remember correctly, there wasn't much left to do, and it's chunky yarn so it knit up pretty quickly.
