Oh, I didn't know you did contra-dance, as well as SCA dance. :) Christian/James and dance every Monday night (in Chicago, obviously).

Talk to me sometime about A&S competitions and how they relate to being a Laurel. For instance, I have never taken part in an A&S competition in my own art, but I was granted a Laurel. It's too long a conversation to have in a comments section, but in person or over email . . . . :)

Looking forward to seeing you guys at St. Cecilia (though you may be too busy to talk!)

No, it isn't necessary to enter $KINGDOM A&S Competitions to achieve the Laureate (hudebnik and I never did). Enter competitions if you enjoy competitions; otherwise, don't. Your teaching and performing bring deep satisfaction to you and enrichment to others; that's the important thing :-)

Thank you very much for sharing Terpsichore with all of us. And huzzah to you and aelkiss on your Evergreens! Vivat! Vivat! Vivat!

I thought very, very seriously about making the drive up for the weekend from Baltimore to Ann Arbor for Terpsichore. The main reason I didn't was not being able to take either Friday or Monday off because of patients scheduling, so I could spend time both at Terp and with my parents.

Miss you all very much. *hug*

We missed you too! There were a few times in particular that I thought you would have appreciated stuff.

One day the stars will align.

Much congratulations on the Evergreen!! Thank you for sharing - of course I was at work (and will be for St. Cecilia, too.) - but it's nice to read your summary.

And do you need a changing table? We have one we're pretty much done with. It's still filled with cloth diapering supplies, which I also need to figure out what to do with.
