[A mixer between schools was a great idea, and was especially fun for Tohru and his friends. A break of sorts from a very demanding job. But an unsupervised mixer, was probably not as smart.
Inevitably, the students had split off from the controlled environment and Tohru had found himself talked into a bar. Mikoto was passed out cold at a nearby table, well past finished. But while they were here and with a drink or two in him already, Tohru felt he deserves the next trip up to the counter.
So he leans on the counter while waiting for his drink and smiles amicably at the boy next to him. One of the students from the other school from the looks of it.]

Your girlfriend talk about makeup a lot or something? None of us have one, but I wonder if part of that is they'd get jealous of us dressing up as cute girls, honestly!
[It didn't help that the few times they went "lady-hunting" and they get picked up by guys while NOT DRESSED UP.]

Thick mascara is useful for women with thin eyelashes or light colored hair. For the most dramatic effect, use black.

But-- [And suddenly the laughter dies off and he sets the drink down, giving him a serious look.] I do the best I can for my job, got it? There aren't a whole lot of guys at the school who know how to do makeup after all. What I learned, I got out of a few magazines, the internet and ... predecessors. [He paused, not sure if he should mention the class president was a former Princess. Then again... he'd already spilled about being a Princess. Whoops. Oh well.]

G-Gah! [Tohru plops down on the seat hard, and had it not been for Hajime's grip on him, he probably would have toppled off of it as the world tilts for a few seconds. But it finally settles and he swallows hard, remaining obediently still.
He didn't really want to let some over-zealous guy with eyeliner poking his eye out because he moved. But then again, he did seem... pretty serious and comfortable doing this.]
