Hey, we all have our limits, I simply place more emphasis on encompassing the well being of everyone.

And who said I don't? It's not people's well being I have a problem with, or with helping people. There's no problem there for me. Many people refuse to accept this though and want to just think that libertarians are cold heartless bastards who are going to let people die in the streets.

Oh, don't think you've got your foot in the door to have another pointless debate with me. My opinions of you have not changed. When you change, perhaps they will, but for now I see enough to draw my conclusions kthx.

I don't think that america has grown lazy, it's more like they grown with a sense of false safety, comfortly numb, since they already have liberty, that toke a lot of work to get, that they don't think that they it can be taken away, or think that it's own goverment will EVER take it away from them, this is a generation which has never had a war in there backyard, a coup, or civil right taken away like in many countries in the world(mine included), I know what is to live in marshall law with courfew, have to do lines for food, and hear bombs explosions nearby, even if it was for a couple days, some people are not that fortunate and have lived through all that (and more) most of there life. I guess what I'm trying to say is that "freedom is not for free" and people here have taken that for granted, and Bush happens when anybody takes there freedom for granted.

There's a difference between truly not caring and emotionally detaching in the interest of self-preservation. I think most of us are somewhat detached because the problems seem so huge and overwhelming. And EXASPERATING.

I detach from politics for the sole purpose of performing magical work concerning it. It seems like the less I care about it the more other people do and positive changes happen. Right now there's not much anybody can do since we all know that the government has sold itself to the highest bidder and nothing will change it unless they fix the political process so it does not favor money over equitable and workable solutions.

To me, I am quietly gaging society's concern for the state of affairs. When I feel like this country is ready for a change I will be the first person there, waiting to stand up for my country and do my part.
