So the first time the (extremely nice and helpful) nurse put my IV in, she got it in just peachy (ow ow ow!), but then it popped out. OW. She did a second one, since although the first was still giving plenty of blood (nng), they were also planning on using the IV to give me fluids and medication, as well. So now it kind of looks like a vampire

My boss was also very non-sanguine about gall bladder surgery. He went on a non-fat diet for over a year to stall having it. He was really paranoid about the surgery. By the time they finally took it out, it was gangrenous. But I know he was really glad when it was out.
