So, on the last shopping trip, I saw a bottle of Pebble Beach single malt, 12 year.

And, the price? $70.

Seventy dollars!!!!

I'm sorry... I've yet to meet a 12 year old whisky worth seventy dollars...

I'm drinking 12 year old rum!

Yep, that's right! Rum that's been aged in oak barriques for 12 years...

Yes, it's rum that's treated like Whisky...

It's called Zaya Rum, and it's considered one of the best luxury rums in the world.

It's very smooth. Very chocolatey and sweet.

There are Whisky cruises to the distilleries of Islay... Three day cruises are £ 895 a person, and all enclusive. Breakfast, a 2 course lunch, afternoon tea, and a 3 course dinner.
