I went to my first IU Tango club practica last night, including my first time seeing shadesofearth since my return to Bloomington. The class on Monday was good, but last night was really my first time to let loose and get my tango on in town. Having just conferred with my flamily, the estimated arrival of the Underwood family in Bloomington is Saturday, August 11th. Mark you calendars accordingly. Assuming we arrive earlier than late evening, some kind of festivities will occur.

Today was the Bailonga at the Tango Center, re-vamped under the guidance of Liz, one of the local teachers. There's live music pretty much every week, now, including tonight, a trio of tanda played by Liz's land-manager-type-folk, who played Jazz/Blues kind of music.
