(So Blaine isn’t actually in this, because I started wondering how Kurt would get a doll.)
Kurt comes home for Christmas break glowing. Dalton Academy is perfect. The Warblers are perfect. Even his new pet bird is perfect (Finn asks if this means he gets a pet too. It doesn’t.).
“What about that boy you were talking about?” Burt asks over dinner.
Kurt’s smile is nothing short of sappy as he says, “Blaine’s wonderful.”
“You have a boyfriend?” Finn asks.
Kurt looks down and busies himself with rearranging the napkin on his lap. “No, not a boyfriend. We’re just friends.” When he looks up, everyone else is giving him varying looks of disbelief. “Really. He hasn’t asked me out.” There’s an unspoken, hopeful, ‘yet’ on the end of that sentence. Kurt looks back down.
“Do you want him to?” Burt asks carefully.
Kurt shrugs a bit, pretending he doesn’t care when it’s obvious he cares rather a lot. “I don’t know

OH MY GOD. NOW IN MY HEAD BURT IS THE GUY WHO PROGRAMS ALL THE DOLLS WITH THEIR PERSONALITIES/ABILITIES AND HE TOTALLY MADE BLAINE BECAUSE HE SAW HOW LONELY HIS SON WAS AND WANTED SOMEONE WHO WAS BRAVE AND HANDSOME AND MOST OF ALL, CHARMINGLY FLAMING. ;DDD
YOUUUUUUUU. You are making this explode in my mind.
HUMMEL'S TIRE & LUBE IS THE ABOVE GROUND COVER FOR THE LIMA DOLLHOUSE, Y/Y?
I realized as I wrote this that if Burt ordered Blaine from the dollhouse to make Kurt happy, and Blaine goes with Dalton, then either Dalton is in on it (DALTON IS THE DOLLHOUSE) or Burt is spending a fortune to make his son's dreams about Gay Hogwarts private all-boys school come true.
I've only seen about 4 episodes, but that's what wiki is for! :D ohmygodican'teventheplotbunnies we take Darren and make him the original personality, on contract for a 5 year job. But he get's caught up with Kurt as Blaine, and, regardless of programming, actually falls in love with him. Kurt finds out about the whole doll thing, and CHAOS ENSUES. Permanent imprint or original personality? *melts onto floor* Your other short fills are awesome too. Ketchup and salt shaker defense! :]

Burt would totally do something like that for Kurt; it was kind of heartbreaking that Blaine isn't real for poor Kurt.
