I have been naughty and marked authors I haven't read or know nothing about as BAD. So, most of them, then.

I have been naughty

That's not naughty. Just ignorant :p

She's now in a slightly more sizeable minority of two.

Well, I voted GOOD for all the others, and I was feeling contrary.

If I could do polls on my live journal, I'd do one about being able to spell Jon Courtenay Grimwood :)

(And that's a dig at any number of people.)

That's no excuse.
And I see that they've misspelled 9tail Fox there, too :)

That's okay. So mind-numbed and apathetic were the copy-editors and proofreaders of 9tail Fox, they didn't bother to spell quite a few words correctly, either.

It is astonishing to me how many otherwise sane people are wrongheaded about JCG.

I thought the 'noble natives vs. the march of progress' was trite, the descriptions of sex plain embarassing (he should obviously not write about straight sex), and the 'Micro$oft Sux' stuff the sort of thing I would expect from Slashdot, not Ryman.

It was hard to keep in mind when I was reading it than it was Ryman, I kept mentally thinking Doctorow or some other Boing-Boing style person who has somehow got a novel published.

You just follow your heart.

There needs to be a "rules to GOOD or BAD" webpage somewhere. here maybe.
