Last night at dinner with my cousin and her family:

7 year old: I want to live with Mommy and Daddy forever.
cousin: Well you can live with us as long as you want.

So apparently my brother and I are both crazy in the exact same way. Some family friends were in town, and we were on a hike. Randomly my brother and I, at the exact same time, turned to each other and started to sing "laundry day..." (from "My Freeze Ray" from Dr. Horrible) It was very freaky and strange. Back in SF. My drive across country went well, if fast. The wedding was beautiful. I really should post about all that sometime. But really, I wanted to say that Hamlet 2 is awesome and hilarious and people should see it. And (if I was going to be around, which I'm not) I would get a group together to perform "rock me sexy jesus" at selectionless.

So I went to New York this Saturday. It was great- I took the 8am Chinatown bus down and the 11:30pm Mega Bus back. While there, I saw Cry Baby and Xanadu. I really enjoyed both, and I both found very funny. I wrote little snippet review-type notes on the way back, featured below. I saw Crystal Skull, and enjoyed it. But I think anything Shia LaBeouf does will just pale in comparison to Even Stevens. Oh Even Stevens, I miss you. Why are you not out on DVD? At least I still have my VHS copy of "Influenza: The Musical"!

What was up with that red shirt of Lee's? I was watching with my parents and my sister, and literally we all started cracking up when we saw him in it. We had to rewind. Thank goodness for tivo. As for the rest... well, I just don't know.
