Yes - I saw your post the other day when I was knee-deep in something and couldn't answer, but yes. And your icon reminds me of something else there's not enough of - Marc and Amanda.
I hate to say this, but I'm really not all that thrilled with Betty's lovelife - I have never figured out why we're supposed to think it's great that Henry is going to go back to Charly when the baby's born, when he's essentially abandoning her during the pregnancy. Either commit to Charly or promise to help raise the child, but make sure that she knows he's with Betty now. And Gio seems nice. I'd argue for someone more exciting, but it could be unusual and positive for a show to have a couple that's just "nice".
But this week really reminded me how fantastic Hilda is. She's really the show's secret weapon. She doesn't get as much attention, but she can break your heart in a second.
I almost wish I could stop watching DW, but I'm loving Donna so very much it's worth the pain. As I said, I think I've started to engage some sort of internal mute button with Tennant, but this was a remarkably weak episode. Did you catch why he was so ticked off about the missiles? I could watch it again, but then I'd have to pay attention to Tennant!
As for biceps, it's not just Helo, but Anders and that other guy who looks kind of drippy. Even Boomer's pretty defined for a girl. He wasn't there this week, but Edward James Olmos is even pumped up these days. It's astonishing, because he used to be so skinny until he was in his 40s. They must have a weight room out with the trailers.
Leoben is a character who should be fascinating, but Rennie is one of those actors who's always left me completely cold. He's the Tennant of one of my other fandoms, Due South. He's wildly popular, and I'll admit I've never been able to see the charm. (And of course, the character I love is the one that almost everyone else thinks is ugly and mean

I think he said the missiles wouldn't be able to pierce the Sontaran ship's hull, but that doesn't really explain his very strong and apparently moral objection to them. I guess he's just anti-nuclear as well as anti-gun. Really kind of hilarious considering he had no problem going up there and setting the Sontarans' atmosphere on fire!
Well, quite. I didn't think I'd heard any explanation or reason or alternative. Do the writers realize how paternalistic/patronizing this is? That very point is one of the reasons I wasn't terribly fond of DW when I was a kid. I was seeing mostly Four-Five episodes, and I always felt a little patronized by them (I could definitely identify with CE on that one), and one of the reasons why Nine hit me like a ton of bricks was that here was a Doctor who was a teacher, someone who would draw the best out of someone and let them fight the battle if they could.
But I think this Doctor prefers it when his human pets let him heroically protect them instead of taking care of business themselves. Hmmm...

I thought UNIT came off pretty well. The Doctor was berating them for guns/missiles, but I really didn't notice him offering any alternatives for self-protection (I've seen other people comment on this now, so I know it wasn't just me!). There was a nice new Colonel and a cute Major with a crush on him.
I'm going to try to do the FW post tomorrow sometime.
