Big Sur > Jack Kerouac Invisible Cities > Italo Calvino Still Life With Woodpecker > Tom Robbins and an interview book called Recording Conceptual Art.
I've been having a major attention span problem the past months so it's been taking me ages to finish any book... or film for that matter.
I recently read this. I love your description! Situationist trash novel. And that you then stand up for it. I'm trying to come up with a contemporary parallel for this kind of creation (in terms of where it stands in relation to more institutionalized and legitimized works) but drawing a blank.
Have you read I Love Dick? by Chris Krauss and Sylvére Longtrier Do you ever read Marguerite Duras?
yes, Duras, and no, Chris Krauss, but I've been meaning to! I cannot come up with anything remotely parallel to this either, except for Bernadette Corporation's Reena Spaulings novel, which doesn't come as a surprise. Do you know it?
