This is now officially a day that can only get better.

My boss owns the building in which our offices are located, and rents much of the second floor to an insurance group. We seldom hear from them except when it’s time to pay the rent - always on time - which I suppose makes them the perfect tenant. This morning was one of those “seldoms”.

My boss tried to reassure us by telling us it was probably really small. Didn't help.
