I remember buying this CD for my niece for Christmas. She would have been about 10, so I guess that's right. Wow. Tempus fugit.

Kinda funny to read the true confession comments on youtube.com from former adolescent boys who had a crush on lead singer Taylor, not realizing that "she" was a "he." Oops. LOL

music, flashback, family, hanson, video

Aww. thanks for finding this! My son, who's 10 1/2, LOVED this song and we whiled away many an afternoon bopping to this. Happy memories. He likes stronger stuff now so I get to keep the CD.

Other than "MmmBop," which I'm pretty sure is not an actual word, can you understand anything they're saying?

Question 2) When I say that out loud, do I sound like my mother?

Whassamatter? Doncha speak teen?
It's perfectly clear:

MMMBop, ba dubi dop ba do bop,
Ba dubi dop ba do bop,
Ba dubi dop ba do. Oh yeah,
MMMBop ba dubi dop ba do bop,
Ba dubi dop ba do bop,
Ba dubi dop ba do

LOL, the rest of the yrics are here.

AS for Qn 2, you sound like me, and I'm not your mother (well, not since the last time I checked)

My "teen" isn't bad, but my MMMBop is nonexistant. Seems a bit odd for a 12-year old to be singing:

"When you get old and start losing your hair,
Can you tell me who will still care?"

doncha think?
