Started my new job at Dillard's today...

Yay! Health benefits and a 401K AND I only have to work 21 hours a week so I can stay at school. I would *really* miss my kids (except Tyler; his parole officer said “the next time” he does something-like kill someone!!-they’ll remove him from the classroom permanently ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'm stoked. Couldn't go to school today, though, as bad back is worse. I've tried heat, then ice, now back to heat. Anyone out there with a sure-fire cure? I work an 8-hour day again tomorrow loading and unloading. Maybe they'll let me do jewelry or something relatively light-weight instead of hauling around blenders, down comforters and place-settings for 12.

At least Libby's friends realized she didn't *mean* any harm. I guess eight-years olds can accept reality more easily than adults. :\

And that's why I work much better with children than the adults I have to "deal with." Children are far more open-minded and forgiving.
