Nope, still no Lambo icon. I suppose I need to make one. *sigh*

Oh, I KNEW that's why it suddenly got quiet....

I love how just as Sideswipe's predicted, Optimus's very 'niceness' is causing doubts! And Prowl is really closer to a sociopath than he thinks. IF he thinks. I was SO happy to see this pop up today!

In all fairness to OP, I have to say that if I were in his place and Sideswipe had just told me what he told OP, I'd be doubting out the wazoo, too! *laughs*

And yes, Prowl could very easily be a sociopath, if given a logically-valid reason to be one. That's one of the dangers of being ruled by logic. It will surely trump ideas of right vs. wrong in a person who's dedicated enough to it. So, that's an idea I've had in my head for a long time. In fact, long, long ago, at a Botcon, I encouraged a friend of mine to draw Prowl toting around an axe. Ah, here it is: Look out!. (Lord, she'd kill me for linkng to her old art. *snickers* I can't believe she still has it on her site! The date stamp on that image is 2002, so...yeah. :) )

Anyway, I don't know that I'll ever really do anything with the idea, but it's fun to play with in my head. :)

And hopefully I can make you happy again over the weekend, if I can drag myself away from the piano long enough to spiff up the next part...

first, on the subject of icons, check over at tf_icons for pellimusprime's lambo twin icon dump. there may be something you can use in there; some of them were suitably dark.

second, holy shitake mushrooms! this was an angle i wasn't expecting you to take at all, though i did expect Sunstreaker to break out. Sideswipe just laying it all out like that was kind of amazing, and the sheer amount of courage it must have taken is staggering. He's definitely more mech than his other half wants him to believe.

Ooooh, thanks for the heads-up on the icons! :D A couple of those would work quite nicely, indeed. Hopefully I have space for one more icon on this account, which is a free one, so...

Anyway, yeah, Sideswipe's got guts; he just needs to realize it, although...uh, never mind. :) He's just convinced himself that he doesn't have any. Shades of...Well, me, of course. I self-insert out the wazoo on characters. *laughs* It's what I do instead of creating a self-insert OC.

No, actually, I just have a li'l hole to fill in at the "top" of the next part. It kind of got mangled when I split what was a HUGE 3rd chapter (Like, 15,000 words) into two not quite so huge chapters. Snippy-snip, fixy-fix! Hopefully the rest will be up over the weekend. It depends on how much the piano controls my little mind...

Oy.. finally found time to read! ;p

I also agree about your angle on the "relationship" between Sides and Streaker. I had a similar idea like that in my RP days. Still a spark split, but it was an uneven split were Streaker got most of the 'darkness', while SIdes got more of the 'light'.

I do like how you explained the reasoning as to why Sunstreaker craved to side with Prowl. Makes sense now... mmmm.
