Tales of the Snowpocalypse - Day Two

Nature is a fickle mistress. My early report scoffed at the report of an impending snow storm. Apparently Mother Nature doesn't care to be scoffed at.

The sidewalk was over 3' deep. The yard still has some snow left from earlier this week, so it's well over 4' drifts in place.

Giving some thought to grabbing some later tonight and making snow cream (snow ice cream . . . good stuff, but you need a deep snow and areas that haven't been walked through.)

Just remember - shoveling builds character and you weren't planning on doing anything over the weekend anyway...

Hoisted by my own petard, I see.

Didn't quite finish the driveway (Leaving the stuff at the end since the plows, if they ever show up, will just throw it all back into the driveway anyway.)

The pile in front of the door was impressive though.

It's not the snow thing - that's tiring, but not crippling - as it was the "moving *that amount* of snow thing. Totally not looking forward to what will probably be a 6+ hour job.
