I speak a couple of languages which include spanish... once you know spanish, any other language is easy to learn but hard to perfect. The romantic languages are spoken fast, i don't know why, but they are!!!
When people speak german, I think its pretty fast... but thats just because I don't speak German. lol

I understnad that the romance languages are spoken faster than english. I wish there wewren't though...

I totally get u guys on the whole "if u r coming to live HERE you should learn the language of the country" thing. But as far as those jobs that REQUIRE one to speak a certain language (in this case spanish) they are doing so for a reason ( ... )

If jobs are going to require people to speak more than just English, we need to ahve better foreign language programs. Everyone I know who is American and has taken SPanish courses up to AP in Broward COunty still doesn't get Spanish and doesn't feel comfortable listing it as a "second Language".... We need to improve the methods used or soemthing...
