Growing up
I think deep inside, there’s always been a part of me that’s been afraid of growing up. Being an adult sucks. You’re burdened with responsibilities, expectations, and all kinds of other nastiness that reality forces upon you. Neglect
I neglect a lot of things in life. This journal, for example. It's something I should keep up more often, even if it's only for myself. I guess it's just too easy to get bogged down by everything else. Ch.2, proofread and finished
I've been more productive than ever, but really, really bad about posting. ^^; I think a large part of it is that I've actually been quite busy with a number of things lately. My "job" is picking up nicely, which is excellent for my income situation, but then I've been keeping up with my writing as well. As much as I tried to avoid it, DS is ( Read more... ) -

I still need to proofread about 700 more words before I can consider this initial run of 10k a success, but hey, reading through what I wrote thankfully wasn't anywhere near as painful as I thought it might be. Let's hope the next 10k goes just as well ( Read more... ) -

Like I said before, NC just wasn't working for me. I think one of the biggest problems was that I basically tried to write it the same way I wrote TotL in that I designed a bunch of awesome characters, devised a fairly loose plot, and tried to ties it all together. a state of change
For far too long, I think I’ve been trying to squeeze stories out of myself. I’ve been so concerned with moving on to the next big project that I never really slowed down and stopped to consider other things, like the input I received from the rest of the world. Time for a moment of honesty.
Since quitting my job, I pushed through with a surge of productivity which I haven't seen the likes of for a while. I made excellent progress on my newest project and write tens of thousands of words. I had to take a month off to finish my TESOL course, which is now done (and I passed :D), and have been putting my life place ever since the end. So ( Read more... )
