lions, witches, and wardrobes

So I finally read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, even though I distinctly remember reading perhaps the first 1/3 of it as a kid, I decided I should. So I read it in a few hours -

Yes, I am not very fond of Hollywoodized book covers myself. Maker bless the content industry, but I doubt Tolkien intended for his trilogy to be sold with Elijah Wood gracing the covers. (Not that there's anything wrong with Elijah.)

I just have to say: (1) very funny conversation there and (2) I love your whited out copy of Lion, Witch & Wardrobe. I don't like the new movie covers and I miss the old drawings that I had when I was a kid...I must have read all of those books at least three times each. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader I have read about eighty times. It has pod people in it for God's sake. Who doesn't love pod people??
