It's nice to see another fan of the dialogue fic here. Most people don't like it, but if it's well written (like this one) it can be very good.

Too much dialogue

It really made the fic hard to follow, as there was no setting (or if it was, it was lost under the crush of words) to play off at all.

Yeah, that's the problem with dialogue-only, it's usually hit or miss b/c of that. Sorry ya didn't like, I'll be going back to regular format for any future fics so hopefully those will be more to your taste :)

I enjoyed this. People's dialogue was unique enough to themselves that I didn't get lost reading it, and I do enjoy the occasional all-dialogue fic. And I like Steve-learns-Tony-is-Iron Man fics.

And, you know, anything where Steve and Tony kiss.

Love it! I had a silly grin on my face the whole way through. I have a special weakness for dialogue-only fics because it feels like I'm listening in, and if done well (like you did here) the format adds a lot of intimacy.

Re: canon, I think that Spider-Man only became involved with the Avengers in the 2000s, a long time after Tony revealed his identity to the Avenger team. (Someone with more Avengers knowledge please verify this?)

Or you could just put this in the wishy-washy 616 space that "Iron Man vs Whiplash" seems to have fallen into.
