Notes: Uh... ok, notes just in case anyone does happen to read this, which isn't expected given that I don't have the faintest idea how long it's been since I did any journaling outside of games... this fic happened after I watched Antwone Fisher for class. Not that it has anything to do with the film. Which I watched under protest--not because I

But that’s all right: a prince doesn’t marry the court damsels, either. A prince marries ash-girls, and raises them. A prince graces the women of the earth.
It turns out that a prince had better not marry a man of the earth if she wants to keep her castle.
You really must persuade Sev!muse to tell you how his parents met. (And then persuade him to allow you to tell the rest of us :D )
I also like the brief disconnect I get from seeing the lowercase 'prince' referred to as 'she' -- I can't properly articulate why, but there it is, all the same.
(This is his grandfather’s old school scarf, delivered the day before he undertook the long journey to London for the express train that will pass his home hours into the trip. It lies gathering dust at the foot of his bed: the warm colors give life to his sallow coloring, but he knows by then that he won’t want it. Doesn’t want it. I've heard other people mention Utena, too -- is it manga-able? And for Slayers, just finished the ep. where Lina loses her [SPOILERS]. I see what you mean about Xel, too -- I don't mind the sudden appearances. It's the sudden disappearances that make me sadface :( DAMN IT JUST STAY IN ONE PLACE AND DO SOMETHING AWESOME, FFS.
I know Sev didn't convince Sirius that names weren't just ID-tags, but I guess I've kept thinking about it since then.
I don't think Sirius does think that about names (vut if Sev has that impression, I may have misrepresented what Sirius does/does not[Sirius sighs wearily and says that you just can't get good typists, these days]).
'someone who wanders around annoying people'.
Eheheh, I like that a lot :D Added to which his middle name means 'usurper', so...
Oh, good, I'm glad the scarf paragraph worked; I wasn't sure whether or not to put it in, since the rest of the fic is linear.Well ( ... )
