Does the "journey home" mean we get to go back to Abydos and discover that while Nagada might have been destroyed, Sha'uri did lead the refugees to safety? You didn't just let Skaara survive so Daniel could have him for bonding purposes, did you?

(The thought that Oma has surgically removed all memory of Nagada itself from Daniel's mind is pretty awful, but not on the same scale of Abydos being totally GONE.)

Love the little touches: "Jack... son?" (hee hee hee) and Daniel feeling safe with Teal'c and kinda-sorta clicking with Sam, and Jack taking the absolute longest and then being the absolute strongest connection. Perfect, that. I was chortling at some of Jack and Daniel's exchanges, especially the "Jack!" "Daniel!" bits and the references to Kinsey. :)

Ooh--thanks for catching that typo. Somehow, a few always slip past my notice...

I remember watching the beginning of season 7 and thinking that Jonas had a lot of chemistry with Daniel (or Nemec with Shanks) and that it was a shame they'd never be onscreen together for too long at a time. So I really liked the idea of making a friendship between them possible :)
