totally agree re: group interviews..... i'm pretty sure that Daiso chose to go this way because 125 people applied and the new store opens at the end of the month, so they needed to get through the applicants as quickly as possible..... from an employers POV, group interviews are good for that i guess. :/ sucks for me, though.
thanks. :) my skills are still nothing compared to a pro, but i am trying to get there. getting a job would help a lot in funding my photography..... it can be an expensive hobby, sadly.
and thanks re: the job. :) i really hope they see my "performance" at the interview in a better light than i see it...
Wow, that photo is just... too beautiful for words. Was that taken with Panda, or one of your "new" cameras? I say "new" because it's been a really long time since I've updated myself on your growing camera collection. :)
I've never had to do a group interview. That is rough! I think I'd totally clam up. But I think you did better than you think you did. You're always too hard on yourself. *hug*
You'd make an excellent Daiso employee. I am here sending "HIRE HER" vibes to Daiso Brisbane. Best of luck. You deserve this job, that's for sure.
Nobody likes when things feel like they're out of our control! *hugs* I'm sure tihngs will turn out well in the end! Just try to think positive! I know that's either said than done! :(

Once I was desperate for work, and had a group interview for this candle store in a shopping mall. Never got a callback for that.
It taught me that group interviews are TERRIBLE. Man, I hate them.
It's hard to speak your mind and when the person before you says exactly what you wanted to say, what do you do?
In my case, the person speaking after me stole my words and made them sound even better than what I said.
WTF.
Group interviews are a bad idea, in my opinion... How can the staff have time to judge each individual person?
I hope you get the job, but no matter what happens, don't give up!
