I'm graduating. Passed Spanish by the skin of my teeth but I'm going to walk. We are also thinking about moving soon...back to Austin. More on that later.

I'M GRADUATING!!!!

So I am on my fourth day at La Madeleine. My feet hurt all the time...like I lay there at night and my feet are throbbing literally. My legs and butt hurt like I do a stairmaster all day everyday...and I only have two days off I think. My schedule will be Tues/Weds/Thurs/Fri/Sat it looks like. Oh gah my feet are killing me!!

But I made it through the first day, know how to do the register, AND know most of the menu...

Now I have to work on the dreaded phone.

Well I went to orientation yesterday. What fun my fellow hirees seem nice well one seems antisocial but whatever. I look like a dork in the uniform though. I have to think about how to do my hair because curly hair (well at least mine) sheds and since I work around food....I had piled it under my hair but I may be able to pull off a ponytail. So today I start my orientation at La Madeline. I am really and truly grateful for this job because I got it when I thought I'd have to go cocktail waitress or something.
