This morning I finally decorated our Christmas tree. It was quite the chore. Of course, the stupid lights had to work when we tried them and only half actually worked after we put them on. I'm glad it's done. Nevermind that it looks like shit and I hate it.What bugs me is that I really really wanted to make our usual lovely crèche but mom said no.

Speaking of lovelyhotadorable gay boiz, I saw the LOGO making of/special on "Brokeback Mountain" last night and...GUH!!! Every day I grow increasingly eager to see this movie..

I'm a bit, I don't know, 'worried' (ok, it's too big a word but you get my point), because I have really high expectations and a part of me wants to believe that it's going to be the best thing since slice bread, lol, but the other part doesn't want to get my hopes up too much after the disappointment that was "Alexander".

Yet I can't help gushing over Heath/Jake and what's also kinda funny is that I've been a Heath fan ever since I saw "10 Things I Hate About You", yet I'm more excited about seeing Jake because I get a better vibe from what I've seen of his performance as Jake than I do from Heath's as Ennis, you know? Well, I guess we can only wait and see...and cross fingers. =P

Well, I don't have THAT high expectations, but from what I saw, I'd love to watch it, really :)
The funny thing, I refused to watch Alexander and then accidently watched it, and it really was MUCH better than I expected. Really, turned my life upside-down (not that I'm sad about it :P)
I don't like Heath, maybe cause I haven't seen him much onscreen, but it's gonna be interesting, and Jake is also a very interesting point (btw, i so loved his quote *Sheep the stupidest animals, so dumb* I was grinning madly :D I love sheep :D

The thing I don't like about Heath in "BbM" is the accent, which is not going to be a problem when I see it at the cinema, seeing as foreign movies are usually dubbed over here, but I definitely want to watch the original movie as well, so then it's gonna be a bit annoying. Or, you know, I'll hopefully be too distracted by the gay sex to notice. *g*

As for "Alexander", I'm absolutely, completely, totally, head over heels in love with the Alex/Phai scenes, but that's about it. It sure let me see a side of Colin Farrell I didn't know before and now I respect him much more as an actor (though it's really "A Home At The End Of The World" that did the trick), but I didn't like the rest of the movie at all and I was disappointed by the lack of love scenes between Alex & Phai. I'm not talking so much about sex scenes - though you wouldn't have heard me complain if they had included any, of course =P - as at least one damn kiss! I believe that was 'due'.

And what girl doesn't like a good bit of boytouching? Or doesn't go 'awwwww', when Nick and Kevin can't keep their eyes and hands off eachother?

Honestly, if they say it to bring the boys down, then I'm very sorry, but they don't succeed at all.

Yeah, well, that's how it should be (though it's not just about that even for me, so I can't blame the rest of the world, you know) and, sadly, some fans do NOT like boytouching (see my previous post), but if I had paid attention to all the people who have always been bashing the guys I wouldn't have been a fan for over 8 years, so, to quote Emmett, 'fuck 'em all'! *g*
