Randomness Strikes Back.
This morning I finally decorated our Christmas tree. It was quite the chore. Of course, the stupid lights had to work when we tried them and only half actually worked after we put them on. I'm glad it's done. Nevermind that it looks like shit and I hate it.
What bugs me is that I really really wanted to make our usual lovely crèche but mom said no. I know, she has a point in that I'm not religious so there's no point in making a crèche, but I can't explain it, I just like it. As a purely ornamental thing, you know? The reason why I haven't fought much for it - other than my laziness, that is =P - is that I'm too busy studying, so much so that a part of me is relieved I have an excuse not to make it.
On a happier note, this afternoon I bought the Christmas present for my twin friends Michela & Alessandra and...the new Take That DVD for myself, YAY!!! I can't wait for the "For The Record..." one to be released. And the BSB one. And the "I Still" single. *sighs but greedily rubs hands*
Earlier this evening, I was listening to the interview BSB did with Frosty on Atlanta Q100 yesterday and they guys cracked me up when they talked about us European fans and in what we're supposedly different from American fans. Ok, being compared to Spanish fans (and pitbulls *ROTFL*) isn't exactly the most flattering thing, yet I couldn't help being just a little bit of that. Flattered that they mentioned us and, definitely, amused by the way Kevin & AJ described 'our' behaviour. Thankfully, though, I'm not like that myself. And don't think for a second that I didn't see/hear you snorting, kizome_yuri! Ok, you're my little NicKev apostle and I love you for that, but don't push your luck. *g*
Also speaking of BSB, the more I watch tv appearances and stuff, the more I'm surprised their detractors have always played the gay card referring to Howie as one of their favourite ways to badmouth the guys. I mean, maybe it's just me, but, if I knew for a fact that 4 BSB out of 5 were gay but I didn't know which ones and I had to pick the straight one, I'd totally say Howie. =S I might be biased, but Nick & Kevin, followed by AJ, are the ones who scream gay to me. Ok, I know this was really random, but I had to say it. It's, like, one of those silly, menial things you need to get off your chest, not because they're heavy on your heart, but just because you need to say them or they'll keep bugging and begging for you to mention them, do you know what I mean?! OMG, I'm crazy. >.<
On an even more random/side note, I LOVE this Passangerz Remix of "I Still"! And the Center Channel versions of CBTY, JWYTK & CTW are cool, too.
Newsflash for my fellow Italian "Queer As Folk"-ers: "QAF" will be airing on Jimmy from next year!!! I'm so going to watch it all over again, if only to hear--

Speaking of lovelyhotadorable gay boiz, I saw the LOGO making of/special on "Brokeback Mountain" last night and...GUH!!! Every day I grow increasingly eager to see this movie..is it January 20, yet?! Hope I won't be disappointed.
And now off to tape Nick & AJ on "Popstars Gone Bad" on E!. ;)
