Oh, Nici, this is so good. I love it. Superb characterisation - I actually felt sorry for DiNozzo when he was between Kate and Gibbs.

Thank you!! I'm glad the story hasn't lost all of its humour the original/longer one has. I wasn't so sure ...
And yes, for the first time I really felt sorry for Tony in one of my stories. But I also feel for Kate because what happened to her could easily happen to me, too. Except that I normally don't read such tearjerker stuff *g*

LOL. I loved this. Poor Kate. Hmmmmm. I wonder if someone at work were to catch me reading this story? Darn, no Gibbs-like people here! Your characterizations are spot-on and I love your humor. One tiny thing, it says "before I have to chance my mind again." and I think you mean "change" instead.
