Dear Mum....Wren's Breath

Dear Mum,

Your Guiding name was Wren - you always liked to say that the wren was a very small bird, with a very loud voice. And that absolutely sums you up :-)

I came across these wonderful pictures and blog, about a photographer called Oliver Wright, who captured a Wren's Breath. I love his persistence and creativity and craft in getting these shots.
And his blog is also about grief and loss.

And then clearing out your stuff in August, I found this card in your writing, a wonderful poem about the Wren.
