Pictures from Nicaragua I have now been back from Nicaragua for four weeks and I am already counting the days until I go back. 74 days. That is, if I can go as planned on September 10. I can't wait! Every time I go back to Nicaragua I fall more and more in love with it there. It is the most beautiful, most heartbreaking place on earth. I hope

I'm so glad you've been able to spend more time in Nicaragua. Even happier that you were in so little pain during your last visit. =) How are you doing overall? How did the surgery in October go?

I don't have any advice about the visa other than to ask why they need one just to visit. Is it because of the country they are coming from or because of the length of the visit? As for her daughter, I would think that if her husband signed a letter stating that his wife had his "permission" to travel outside of the country with their daughter, that might help.

Hey! Great to hear from you! The surgery in October went very well, have very little scarring and am thinking about getting some more done, so I can use the money I have in my Flexible Spending Account at work. If I don't use it, I lose it and I was very happy with the results in October

Being down there is therapeutic, I felt the exact same way! (although, I haven't been there during the rainy season!)
Hearing that your trip went well is getting me all excited for mine this December :)
